Full Review: I want to start this by providing a bit of background. Back in 29th October 2024, I discovered some of the keyboard keys of my HP Spectre x360 14-EA0030TU laptop were not functioning. So I went to Google Maps to check for the best computer repair shops and found 3 of the highest rated in Sydney. I contacted them regarding my problem and all repair shops recommended replacing the keyboard. At the time this was written (23 November 2024), here are the highest to lowest rated shops including their quotes and estimated repair processing time: 1. SureCanDo Computer Services - Has 4.9🌟 and 205 reviews - Quoted $290 for keyboard replacement and installation fees with 100% upfront payment - Promised 1-2 business days to complete the keyboard installation 2. Central Star IT (based in Ryde) - Has 4.9🌟 and 108 reviews - Quoted $200 for keyboard replacement and installation fees with 50% upfront payment - Promised 3 business hours to complete the keyboard installation 3. LB Computer Shop (based in North Strathfield) - Has 4.4 🌟 and 54 reviews - Quoted $220 for keyboard replacement and installation fees with no mention of upfront payment requirement - Promised 2-4 business days to complete the keyboard installation Despite the $70-$90 difference compared to competitors, I ultimately went with SureCanDo because they are the highest rated and the most reviewed on this list. They also assured me that my personal data remains untouched and didn't require login details. SureCanDo placed the order for my replacement keyboard on 31st Oct 2024 and the part arrived on 11 Nov 2024. I dropped off my laptop on 12th Nov and it was ready for collection by 13th Nov. When I picked up my laptop, I checked its condition and tested the keyboard. SureCanDo took care of my laptop really well and all the keyboard keys are now functioning again. However, I noticed that some of the keys were not properly aligned or slightly tilted (see photos attached). When I asked Serkan (the technician working at SureCanDo), he said that it was because of some of the bolts that held the keyboard were larger than the rest. If he were to attempt to fix that, then there is a risk of damaging the keyboard. I'll admit that slight detail bothered me a little but it was just a minor cosmetic problem. In the end, SureCanDo's services proved to be high quality and very punctual. I highly recommend fixing your computer problems here.

Great service. I needed a fast turnaround as I was only in the country for a few days. I organised everything by email before coming to Australia. On arrival I sent my laptop via Australia Post overnight service. I had the repaired laptop back by Aust Post within 2 working days of sending it. When I cracked my laptop screen, I took it straight to the Apple Genius Bar. They said it would cost at least 1k to fix and my model was soon to be outdated which meant that they weren’t going to make any parts for it and that I should consider buying a new computer. I then took it to SureCanDo and Serkan was very friendly and said that it was an easy job to fix! My whole screen wasn’t showing up and had a giant crack across the whole thing starting from the side. After only 2-3 days of working on it, Serkan managed to fix the screen and it was pristine. Serkan has fixed my laptop which I thought was beyond help. The power circuit had failed and it refused to turn on, the charger did nothing and I was fairly sure it was bricked but he's managed to bring it back to life. It took a while due to the individual chip not being available but once it arrived he fixed it promptly, tested it well and then returned it to me. The price was good for the service I received. The only downside I experienced was delays in shipping on the replacement parts which meant it took a while but for the price and quality of repairs I am more than happy. Thanks Serkan!

My 2016 Acer V17 Nitro laptop is notoriously difficult to repair due to its design - there are plenty of horror videos of it breaking on the web. I had a Astro A50 transmitter with a broken power port. It was an integral component of a headphone set-up for my grandsons’ gaming array. I sent Sure-Can-Do photos of the obvious damage in the disassembled unit and Serkan responded with advice that it could be fixed. I dropped it off in the early afternoon and, later, that same day, the job was done with the unit restored as operational. He posted a video on YouTube showing the complex remedial processes and his skilful micro-soldering and engineering knowledge. Splendid result, fabulous service, delightful and satisfying outcome.

Very polite and relaxed service here. I required a specific micro soldering job on some PCBs for my portable hard drives. Serkan was happy to take the time to listen to me explain my problem in full and advise me on the process he'd take to fix it. His quoted rate for the job I needed was a touch higher than I got from other shops, but I felt a lot more comfortable leaving my electronics with him than the alternatives who were frankly rude and uninterested by comparison.

I have a HP laptop of 2015 model, and while I was upgrading my laptop accidently I broke the clip of my keyboard which is very fragile, and in hurry to fix that I bruised the threading of the keyboard ribbon. My 8 year old HP Envy dv6 laptop was making whirring noise and needed a fan replacement. I've put in a lot of effort into rebuilding the laptop prior to that and did not want to throw it away because of the fan problem.
